Our Mission

Jesus Freaks Ministry is a Christian ministry dedicated to boldly sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping people grow in faith through Bible teaching and community. We encourage believers to live unashamed of their faith. We believe the message of Jesus is the hope of the world, and our goal is to help people to encounter the truth of the gospel, grow in their relationship to Christ, and live transformed lives. Through teaching, prayer, and community, we seek to strengthen believers and reach those who are searching for truth.

Why the name Jesus Freaks?

The name “Jesus Freaks” comes from the Jesus Movement of the 1960s and 1970s, when thousands of young people radically turned to Christ and began sharing the gospel boldly. The believers were called “Jesus Freaks” because they were passionate, unashamed, and completely devoted to following Jesus. We embrace that name because we believe that Christians today should live with the same passion and boldness for Christ.
