Meet the People Behind the Mission
Jesus Freaks Ministry is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who share a common passion for proclaiming the Gospel, serving our communities, and faithfully stewarding the resources God has entrusted to this ministry. Together, they provide prayerful leadership, biblical accountability, and strategic direction as we seek to bring hope for today and hope for eternity.
Cris Harrelson, Executive Director
Cris founded Jesus Freaks Ministry out of a deep desire to help people encounter the hope of Jesus Christ in practical and life-changing ways. His passion is to proclaim the Gospel, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, and serve communities through compassionate outreach.
Randie Harrelson, Secretary
As a retired educator, Randie has a passion for helping children and young people come to know the life-changing power of Jesus. Randie is a member of First Baptist Church of Bladenboro.
Kris Yarborough, Treasurer
When Jesus calls, Kris has learned to follow. Jesus called her to Jesus Freaks and she accepted His calling to embark on an amazing journey. Kris is a member of First Baptist Church of Bladenboro.
Russell Benson, Director
Russell is pastor of Northside Baptist Church of Bladenboro. Russell has a heart for the lost and, through his ministry at the church and Jesus Freaks, he provides spirit-filled wisdom and guidance for spreading God’s love with others.
Channing Horton, Director
Channing is a young man with a heart for seeking God. He strives to have a daily walk with Jesus and encourages others to come to a transforming encounter with the King of Kings. Channing is a member of Northside Baptist Church of Bladenboro.
