Sin’s not that big of a deal… right?
That’s one of the oldest lies ever told.
Sin always starts small—just one compromise, one glance, one secret, one moment of disobedience. But sin never stays where it starts. What feels harmless today can become bondage tomorrow.
James 1:14–15 warns that desire gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is full-grown, brings death.
Sin promises pleasure but pays in chains. It offers freedom while leading people into slavery. What you think you can control can slowly begin to control you.
But there is hope.
Jesus Christ came to break chains, forgive sin, and set captives free. You do not have to remain trapped in compromise, addiction, shame, or spiritual distance from God.
Don’t underestimate what Jesus died to save you from.
Run to Christ today. Sin still destroys… but Jesus still saves.
